Dear Parents, School organized a special training programme for it’s Academic Staff Dt: 11-9-2019. The Training programme was an interactive conference titled ‘Happy Classroom and Rewards & Recognitions’ – Alternative to Punishments”. The workshop was professionally anchored by Sachin Siddhra from Disha, at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar. The Academic Staff was introduced to the concept of a Happy Classroom and how effective Rewards can enhance the physical, emotional and academic needs of the Student, importantly, motivating Students to change habits and key behaviours to enhance joy for learning and understanding. Dear Parents, Our Preschoolers studying in Pre nursery assisted by Isha & Amrit were happily engaged in English language Alphabet matching game, Dt: 11-9-2019. The game activity was conducted outdoors. Our Preschoolers were introduced to alphabets, as well as, matching alphabets with pictures. Preschoolers find the experience fascinating while practising matching alphabets supported by sound !- Ekta Dhawan, Principal.

Dear Parents, Our Students Studying in Std V-Addorables were engaged in their weekly Swimming lessons, today. Swimming lessons involved teaching young students a) floating aided by supports & b) practicing limb movement with flippers. The lessons were supervised by Swimming Coach Slomi. School intends to ensure that all students develop into confident Swimmers at a young age! – Ekta Dhawan, Principal
Dear Parents, School held Annual Intra – Class slogan writing competition 2019, today. The event theme was ‘Teachings of Baba Nanak’ in commemoration of 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Students studying in Std VIII(All Sections ) participated in the contest. Participants showcased Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings of a)love, b) peace, equality & c)brother hood. School encourages practice of slogan writing as it’s rightly considered the most effective method of drawing attention to one or more aspects of any theme, service or product. The works were judged on a) Being Precise, b)Conveying a Story, c)Simple & understandable script & d) attractive font – Ekta Dhawan, Principal.

Dear Parents, Preschoolers studying in Nursery Commendables assisted by Anu & Amrit, were actively engaged in an outdoor ring game activity during Games period this morning Dt: 9-9-19. Playing games outdoors is an excellent way for Preschoolers to have fun & such games get them exercising, while also, instilling concentration, discipline and team spirit. We want our Preschoolers to genuinely love the outdoors- Ekta Dhawan, Principal.
