Dear Parents, Students Studying in Std VII-B were engaged actively in their Weekly Pistol Shooting lessons, this Morning. The Students were taught / instructed about the five fundamentals of Pistol shooting a)Aiming, b)Breath Control. c) Hold Control, d)Trigger Control & e) follow through. Students have displayed characteristics of sharp shooters. The lessons were instructed by Mr. Sawinder Singh Negi (TGT) & Capt. D. Singh. – Ekta Dhawan, Principal.


Dear Parents, 
Our Freshers studying in Grade IX put up a variety of performances on the occasion of GOOD FRIDAY, today. These included Song titled ‘Bol mitti de baveya’ by Lovleen & ‘Nike nike nadu chila dahu’ by Mohit . Manav sang a melodious classical song ‘ RAG ‘ , followed by a Guitar recital by Himanshu.Gurkirat , Ranvir and Arman performed a dance on the soundtrack of ‘Bhangra beats’.Navroop ( Spring), Prabhdeep (Endless Time) And Rajbrar ( Smart Man) recited an enriching poems. And Ilesh performed Tik-Tok Jokes. Suwiata spoke confidently and delivered an informative speech titled ‘ Discipline ‘ and Susang delivered an address titled ‘Motherland.’ The Judges of the event were:-

Dear Parents, Our Freshers studying in Grade VIII put up a variety of performances on the occasion of Fresher’s Day today. These included Song titled ‘ Jugni ‘ by Sushant and ‘ Teri Mitti ‘ by Tanisha, a Tabla recital by Rythmpreet. Jashanvir, Piyush and Maninderjit performed a dance on the soundtrack of ‘ Beats ‘, a ‘Doha’ based presentation by Gurleen throwing light on our ancient Vedic cultures was well performed. Mohammad Labeeb Nasree spoke confidently and delivered an informative speech titled ‘ friendship.’ Veer Vikram Pratap Singh entertained the audience as a Riddles-Master. in conclusion Gurshan and Ravnoor narrated real life humorous incidents- great public speak! – Ekta Dhawan, Principal.



Dear Parents, Our Kindergarteners studying in KG-2 accompanied by Jaswinder went on a visit to a Supermarket ‘Easy day’ on dt 18-4-19 . Kindergarteners enjoy being in a supermarket, learning and getting a sense of the ambiance and functioning of the market. Dear Parents, School conducted a special Interactive Career Guidance Seminar for Students studying in grade XI Dt 17-4-19. Our Students were assisted by Srishti Sharma & Jagjeet Kaur form tutors .The interactive seminar was anchored by Rishi Chopra, Assistant Professor of Lovely Professional University, Phagwara. The Student audience was apprised about methodology , techniques and importantly MINDSET to be adopted while planning towards acquiring necessary skills for a achieving career success and also about ATTITUDE to be adopted to convert dreams in to reality. -Ekta Dhawan, Principal.


Dear Parents, Our Freshers studying in Grade VII put up a variety of performances on the occasion of Freshers Day today. These included Shabad Kirtan titled ‘Rakha Ek Hamara’ by Charvi and Anmolpreet Singh, a Mime theater performance on the topic of ‘eradicating bullying’ was enacted by Abhishek and Supandeep. Tanish exhibited his skills at roller skating on stage. Janus performed a dance on the background score ‘Ghoomar’, in conclusion , a unique Qwali by Armaan , along side ‘Shloka’ based presentation by Kanishk throwing light on our ancient Vedic cultures. Prabhleen spoke confidently and delivered an informative speech on the life and times of Netaji Subhash Chander Bose. – Ekta Dhawan, Principal.



Dear Parents, Our Kindergarteners (KG-I C) were engaged in an interesting activity based on paper cutting & pasting on patterns .The Kindergarteners were assisted by Suchita-Instructor & Amrit – Academic Supervisor. MornA16APDear Parents, School invited Freshers studying in grade VI to put up performing arts show on the occasion of Fresher’s Day today Dt: 16-4-2019. The show included a Theater performance- Mime titled “Side effects of use of mobile phone” enacted by Anshveer Singh, Shubraj, Abhishek, Manik, Sarabjeet & Kritik Sagar, also, energetic and full of rhythm classical dance performances by Heyman, Mehak and Tanuj . Aryan Sood displayed his ingenuity by dealing with multiple Rubix Cubes in a single go, in conclusion Madhav delivered an informative speech rather confidently. – Ekta Dhawan, Principal.

IMG-20190416-WA0095Dear Parents, Our students studying in Std I-A accompanied by Ms. Chetna form Tutor went to ‘Dominos’ on dt 16-4-2019 to spend a lively morning, learning about their good food, tasting their fresh ingredients, and of course, making authentic pizza. The Students loved the aroma of freshly baked Pizza. The Dominos Staff apprised the young students about the ingredients and flavours. MMosq15AP Dear Parents, Students studying in grade IX Dazzlers ,enrolled in the IAYP International Awards programme went on a Study cum Community service visit to the heritage Moorish mosque on Dt 15-4-2019 . The Students were escorted by Veena Salwan, Form Tutor.The students were briefed about the history and architecture of the heritage site. Students were rather amazed to see and learn about the richness of the Architecture, it’s structure and History related to it . The students offered Prayers followed by engaging in cleaning the Mosque Compound, while making requests to the visiting public to plant trees in the compound during the forthcoming monsoon season The activity enhanced students understanding of the true meaning of CULTURE , INTER PERSONAL Skills and its role in EDUCATION ! – Ekta Dhawan, Principal.



Dear Parents, Students Studying in Std I across to Std V participated in Group Singing lessons this Morning, Dt: 15-4-19. . The group songs practiced were titled ‘God’s Love Is So Wonderful’ Group Singing is considered therapeutic and getting young students into such a daily routine helps in exercising lungs and becoming mentally alert. Dear parents, Students Studying IX- BLOSSOMS, participating in the IAYP International Awards programme 2019, visited the City Gurudwara, Kapurthala dt: 15-4-19 . IAYP Students participated in reciting Shabad Kirtan titled ‘Ek Ek Tuhi’ followed by engaging in community service at the Gurudwara – brooming the Gurudwara compound, swabbing the footpaths, washing utensils & distribution of Prasad. Dear Parents, Inter House salad making competition for class ( I to VIII) was held on 12th April 2019.The students of each house displayed various kinds of salads , such as Cucumber salad, Combo salad, Jumbo salad and many more indigenous salads using commonly available ingredients. Dear Parents, Students Studying in Std KG I -C were actively engaged in Track & Field Athletics sports this Morning, assisted by Suchita Goyal & Coach Negi. Running and Jumping games for young Students are designed to help boost physical fitness levels as well as self-esteem. Track & field also allows our Students to exercise together through play, rather than making running feel like a dreaded PE activity. Dear Parents, Students Studying in Std X B organised and managed a Special Assembly to commemorate Baisakhi 2019  (Baisakhi is a long established harvest festival in the Punjab), assisted by Pooja Gautam. Students spoke about the significance of the day – which is remembered for establishing ‘The Khalsa’. Also, students put up a Bhangra performance titled ‘ Chal mele nu chaliye ‘ ,dedicated to celebrating the festival in it’s folk avatar. Dear Parents, Commemorating Baisakhi 2019, School conducted it’s annual Intra class Dastaar Bandi competition , specially for Students studying Grade XII , on dt 11-4-19 . The Students participated in tying the Dastar with immense Pride. Sikhs around the world wear a Dastar – or turban – as an article of faith, symbolizing the values of discipline, honesty, integrity, ethics, spirituality and humility. The contest was judged by Capt. Dear Parents, The School conducted a special Orientation Programme for the benefit of Students studying in grade XI on Dt 10-4-19. Dear Parents, Our Students Studying in Std VI to XII attended a special talk about prevention of Cancer, anchored by Shri. Sukhdev Singh( Education Programmer and Resources Mobilizer)- Global Cancer Concern India, Dt: 10-4-2019 . The organization works on projects related to providing long term prevention, care and treatment for cancer patients. Dear Parents, Our Students Studying in Grade VII-A assisted by Sandeep Kaur have improved their skills on Entrepreneurship by running a micro business of preparing & Serving Popcorn during Break time ,at School. Students prepare and process in Hygienic conditions at a designated station for convenience of interested Students. Dear Parents, Students studying in VII D were actively engaged in an interactive reading session outdoors this Morning. The Lesson was instructed by Alumni Gurjot Kaur & Jagdeep Kaur , form tutor. The topic deliberated was titled ‘ Power of good people’. The article consisted of names of all persons who defied odds and worked for social and human welfare, followed through with an interesting Q&A session . Olym02APDear parents, School hosts Science & Maths Olympiads as an integral part of Academic & Co-Curricular curriculum through the course of the Term.The Olympiads (SOF International Mathematics Olympiad, SilverZone International Olympiad, Conquest IQ Olympiad) are a platform that challenge Students Imaginations/ Inquisitiveness. Seven students received Gold Medals and One student received Medal of Distinction in SOF International Mathematics Olympiad. Two students received Gold Medals in Silver Zone International Olympiad and One student received a trophy and certificate of merit in Conquest IQ olympiad . KGCollaAPDear Parents, Our Kindergartners studying in KG-II B assisted by their form tutor Arshpreet were actively engaged in learning and making of collages, this Morning , dt 8-4-2109. The word collage comes from the French verb ‘coller’ ,which means “to glue.” The activity provides use of just three things: A piece of paper as the base, torn or cut paper as the collage material and some sort of glue to hold those two things together. It’s an outstanding way to not only help kindergartner’s fine motor skills develop, but to gauge where those skills are at any given time. It teaches cause and effect. Dear Parents, Students Studying in Std VII-C participated in their weekly lessons learning about ‘Air Rifle Shooting ‘, Dt: 5-4-2019. The aim of today’s air rifle awareness theory lesson was to equip the Students with the knowledge, understanding, skills and awareness required to undertake basic air rifle shooting. the objective was to improve shooting skills vide a sturdy foundation of knowledge. Elements covered in today’s lesson were: a)Safety, b) Principles of air rifle shooting, c) Air Rifle Type, d)Pellet types,e) Shooting positions, f) Zeroing & g) Gun Cleaning. Dear Parents, Our Kindergartners studying in KG- 1 Adorable , were actively engaged in learning the Sport of Basket Ball, duly assisted by their form Tutor Suchita & Sports Coach Sawinder Negi , on Dt 4-4-19. Dear Parents, Students studying in KG-2 Adorable accompanied by their form Tutor Jaswinder and Academic Supervisor Amrit , went for nature walk on dt 3-4-19. They walked around the school campus while observing the beauty of nature. They looked closely at a variety of Spring flowers, leaves and birds . Dear Parents, Students Studying in Std VII-A , were introduced to the sport of KHO KHO, this Morning. Playing Kho Kho shall be a weekly routine for the young Students, game helps young students in building physical fitness, strength, speed and stamina. It also develops qualities such as obedience, discipline, sportsmanship, and loyalty between team members. The game is interesting because the position of the players sitting is dynamic; one will never find the same sequence of players sitting in the same order as when the game starts. Dear Parents, Our Teachers from the Primary Wing ( assist by Radha Academic Supervisor ), presented the Morning assembly on the occasion of commencement of the Academic Term 2019/20, today, Dt: 3rd April 2019. School came together to recite a prayer titled ‘Be careful little eyes, what to see”. The Assembly featured an inspirational thought which was followed by News Headlines for the day. Assembly concluded with group song titled ” Welcome Song ” performed by Teachers – dedicated to welcoming students back to School! Students joining the school were welcomed on stage for a customary Cake cutting ceremony. Students were counseled briefly that whereas Academics are Important but emphasis must be laid to build a good character, which is even more important than to study well. – Ekta Dhawan, Principal.



Dear Parents, Our Kindergartners were highly enthusiastic, actively engaged in the concluding day activities of the Induction programme this Morning . The young students enjoyed a nature walk, circle hour , hand painting and games activities . The young Students got down to sharing lunch with their friends, which was heartening to observe. Dear Parents, School hosted it’s Annual Teachers Orientation Programme 2019 on Dt: 28-3-2019, with an objective to lay a foundation for the new teachers, mainly to provide them with concise and accurate information about the ‘how things are done here’ to make them more comfortable in their teaching tenure. Orientation encouraged the teacher’s confidence and intended to help them to adapt to the teaching environment. Dear Parents, School initiated an Induction Programme specially for the new faces in the Kindergarten. this Morning. The Kindergarteners shall experience the induction routine today and through to 30th March. Kindergarteners got an opportunity to know their classmates, meet their teachers, and participate in some introductory kindergarten activities which included cycling, colouring, ball game and dancing. Dear School Community, School hosted it’s Annual Reinforcement Result (ARR) – Parent Teacher Conference Pre Nursery up to Std 8 , at the School on Dt: 26-03-2019. At the meeting, parents got an opportunity to speak to all of their children’s teachers, share with the school their enthusiasm and experiences and further understand the social, emotional and cognitive development of their child. The main objective of the ARR PTM is to encourage parental involvement in the school and have a meaningful exchange of views as a support to the Students/Pupils Academics! – Ekta Dhawan, Principal



The School hosted a Parent Orientation Coffee morning with an objective to familiarize the Parent community 2019 about what their children will experience in School so as to enable them , to be more supportive, less anxious and more able to cope with letting go. Kapurthala, has announced awards for Sporting Excellence 2018/19 pertaining to contests held in Zone Block -II, during Oct-Nov 2018. Our School’s Under 19 Teams for Football, Volley Ball & Basket Ball have bagged top honours in the above 3 Sports. Our Under 17 Teams for the Sport of Volley Ball, Chess, Badminton & Basket Ball & Kho Kho have bagged top honours as well. Whereas our Under 14 Team bagged top honours while competing in the sports of Kho-Kho. Our Atheletics Team ( Under -17) secured Gold Medals for the 100M Dash, Shot Put throw and Silver medal in Long Jump. Our Students have shown great deal of interest in field Sports, through such participation they have learnt to display discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, accountability, and teamwork. – Ekta Dhawan, Principal.



Dear Parents, School staff celebrated ‘Woman’s Day’ by putting up a lovely Theater performance titled ‘Mashup Of Retro Songs’ , also some delightful singing Poem titled ‘क्योंकि नारी महान होती है ‘ , dedicated to the occasion.
