Dear Parents, Our Students Kriti Walia (XI Blossoms) & Hasan Abdal Singh Sharma (X Blossoms) Participated in the 10th SIFFCY Young Cinema Festival( supported by the European Union and Foundation) Serving as Young Jury Members. The experience was a life skills-based exercise designed in the framework of 21st-century skills of media literacy aiming to inculcate creative and critical thinking along with leadership and decision-making skills among young students. – Dr. Ekta Dhawan, Principal.

Dear Parents, Our School team comprising Arunjeet Kaur (X Adorables) participated in Kapurthala Sahodaya annual Inter-School Portrait Making Competition, held at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, The event attracted participation by Teams from 13 schools in the district, Arunjeet’s work secured her Third position. Theme contested was “Pioneering Scientists” . Dear Parents, Our School’s Theatre & Dramatics team comprising Nandika Shori (XII Adorables), Divanshi (XI Adorables), Preetam Sheoran (XI Blossoms), Savri Arora (XI Blossoms), Divyansh Jain (XII Blossoms), Avish Aggarwal (XII Adorables), Vansh Babbar (XI Adorables), Navjot Kaur (IX Commendables), Simranjeet Kaur (IX Adorables) and Kulshaan Singh (X Blossoms) participated in Annual Sahodaya Jalandhar Street Play Competition held Dt: 31-08-2024 at CT World School. The theme contested was ‘Impact of Social Media ‘. The event attracted participation by 48 Teams representing Schools from Distt: Jalandhar. Team BLPS made a strong, clear use of the theme in their act, characterization seemed credible & real, their act seemed active, vital and dramatic on stage & dialogue sound natural and credible for the act and location – Secured GOLD- 1st position in the competition. Dear Parents, Our School Team comprising Divleen Kaur & Sehajpreet Kaur (Form IX) participated in “ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਵਾਚਨ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ” organized by Bhasha Vibhag, Govt. of Punjab, District Kapurthala, The contest attracted participation by Teams from 22 schools across the district, Divleen Kaur secured FIRST position, while Sehajpreet Kaur’s piece titled ‘ ਰੁੱਖ ‘ reflected deep connect to cultural heritage – judging criteria: a) Adherence to theme & pronunciation, b) Clarity & Cohesion, c) Originality of expression and thought & d) Structured and focused and orderly. – Dr. Ekta Dhawan, Principal.

Dear Parents, Our School Team comprising Rumani Gupta ( Form XI ) & Divyanshi ( Form XI ) participated in Annual Jalandhar Sahodaya Inter School English Debate Competition 2024.The event attracted participation by Teams representing 28 Schools. The topic at the debates was titled “Human Footprints: The Genesis of Environment Turmoil”. Rumani debated in favour of the motion securing Top Honours ( 1st Position ) , whereas, Divyanshi spoke against the motion- adjudged for a consolation award. The debates were judged based on a)Pronunciation, b) Absorbing Content, c)Poise & accentuation through appropriate Physical gestures & d) Tone & Speech articulation. – Dr. Ekta Dhawan , Principal.

The event attracted participation by teams from 20 Schools . The Theme contested ‘ In Commemoration of Independence Day ‘ team BLPS performed a special rendition of ‘ स्वर्ग तुल्य यह देश हमारा ‘ securing Gold.
