Director's Message

Mrs. Simrita Bawa
(Director)

Thank you for visiting The Bawa-Lalvani Public School  website; we are delighted that you are interested in us. If you are considering this school for your child I would like to take the opportunity to share with you some of our distinctive characteristics. I will  begin with our ethos because this describes how we do things and how the school ‘feels’ for all those in the community, including, most importantly, our students.

The school prides itself in being a Co-Educational and multi-cultural community, affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi. Within this community we promote tolerance, mutual respect and valuing others views, even when different, or rather particularly when different from one’s own.

We promote high standards of achievement and in all that we do our goal is to maximise potential and allow every student to flourish. In this we are as proud of the academic achievements of the youngest nursery and primary students as we are of our excellent results in the CBSE 10th & 12 Class Board Examinations.

Our students are  contemperory minded, culturally sensitive, confident, critical thinkers.  They aspire to join leading universities and to become leaders in their fields. We support the globally mobile parents, who choose to keep their children in Kapurthala, by offering high class schooling and seek to add value to the education of every child. We strive to achieve  our  below mentioned Rainbow of aims  by actively pursuing the same as an action in our daily routine:

Standards of achievement:             to challenge every student to fulfil their potential;
Tolerance: to respect differences accepting the views and beliefs of others;
Moral education: to foster high moral and ethical standards;
Multi-culturalism : to embrace multi-culturalism and capitalise on the strengths of Indian culture;
Citizenship: to educate students for life;
Learning: to provide stimulating and challenging learning; and
Teamwork, generosity: to develop collaboration, cooperation and community spirit.
